REDStack
REDStack believes in Blue Energy powering our sustainable future. REDStack has a mission to market its position as a leader in the technology of RED, of ED and of ion exchange membranes worldwide and works intensively on the development, scaling up and future commercialisation of energy generation from differences in salinity. This form of energy has many benefits compared to alternatives and has the potential to change the way energy is generated.
Eco Runner
'Promotes a sustainable future by building the world's most efficient hydrogen powered city car. Their ultimate goal is to inspire and activate the public to play a bigger part in the energy transition and promote hydrogen along the way. The team of mutlicip[lianry students think that hydrogen will play a key-role in the future. Multiple alternative fuels are needed to get rid of fossil fuels and Eco-Runner Team Delft believes that hydrogen is the missing piece of this complicated puzzle.
NEFFA
NEFFA is the only 3D manufacturing method allowing for seamless and custom products grown from home compostable mushroom roots and other biomaterials.
Producing fashion locally has not been done at scale, due to high labor costs, a lack of skilled workers and the fact that all supplies generally still need to come from Asia. NEFFA solves this puzzle: raw materials, such as our MycoTEX mycelium material, can be grown locally through fermentation and its manufacturing method is fully automated, without any weaving or stitching, in an ultra transparent system that also eliminates the risk of centralizing production in one region only.
Lobster
Lobster is a startup company developing the next generation tools for underwater data collection, powered by versatile robotics and a drive to innovate.
Their dream is to contribute to a better understanding of human impact on the oceans, and together find better ways to protect, restore and enjoy the great big blue.
IF DENIM
IF DENIM's focus is to develop garments sustainably. Used jeans, old stock pairs jeans and deadstock fabrics are carefully selected and manufactured the studio. Upcycling is the process of taking used denim and turning it into a new garment, either by changing it completely, or just a little bit to give it new life. We have succeeded in redeveloping too much produced and used denim on a larger scale into high-quality new consumer products with a circular story.
SCAVE.WORLD
Scave.world is a Dutch regenerative agroforestry company, with global experience. Save.world enables local biodiversity via carbon-farming agroforests based on regenerative agriculture principles. They also connect nature-based carbon removal to innovative and sustainable companies to clean up emissions in a way that does more than just store carbon. It creates connections, increases biodiversity, cleans and stores water, grows nutritious food and provides decent jobs.
